Default Cats and Intake

I am having high performance Cats put on my 75 350 L48 upgraded with an edelbrock performer RPM manifold. The engine was already set up with the perfomance 420 upgrade, and they went with straight pipes. (not legal)

Edelbrock recomends not using this manifold with emmisions vehicles.

Will I be ok with the high performance cats?

Thanks !!

They will be fine. Edlebrock does not recommend that manifold because it does not have the EGR port on it I imagine.
All the difference is in the cats is flow rate.

Default Thanks

much appreciated sir !!

I kinda figuered it would be a sensor, or EGR problem. I am making sure they put on some HI FLOW cats, like dyna's.

kinda pricey, but hey at least it'll be legal.

Thanks again.
