Default brakes

I recently purchased a 76 that has brake problem. The prev. owner rebuilt all 4 calipers and installed new mc. He said he bench bled mc. Pedal goes to the floor, tried gravity bleeding with no real effect.
any suggestions?
Thanks

If no fluid is leaking, then bleed again. These systems are difficult to bleed with one pass. Start farthest away, bleed it at least 20 pumps, 4 pump intervals, closing and opening the valve. Then do that on the other four calipers.

Example - Right Rear:
Closed...Pump, Pump, Pump, Pump...open...Closed...Pump, Pump, Pump, Pump...Open...Closed...Pump, Pump, Pump, Pump...Open...Closed...Pump, Pump, Pump, Pump...Open...Closed.

Then do that for each other wheel.

If it's still a mushy pedal, you might be dealing with a bad master.

Open the master cylinder top, have someone gently pump the brakes, and look for small bubbles in the fluid.
DB is on track, but check that he/she did bleed the master cylinder good enough.

Good info.
Also,,,MAKE SURE that you check the MASER CYLINDER fluid level after each slave gets blead. If it runs dry,,,you will have to start ALL OVER AGAIN!

Default Calipers

Also, I believe your rear calipers will have twin bleeder screws and you need to do both to get all the air out. good luck

Thanks, I didn't know about the twin valves. I will try again.
