Adjustable upper control arms.
Can anybody comment on these adjustable upper control arms. I haven't seen them mentioned here before. www.spcperformance.com They seem reasonably priced at $456/pr and Summit Racing sells them.

I would like to know the answer to this as well. I do have the 2 SPC fastrax camber caster gauges which are very well machined aluminum, I really wouldn't worry about the quality with SPC products. I have been considering either slotting the upper a-arms bolt holes on the shaft by a 1/4" forward or buying adjustables. If you slot the holes with a mill you can get to 5 degrees caster without shims or very few and maintain the stock look. I have been more leaning towards slotting the uppers and the cost would only be $20 to $40 for a 10 minute mill job. You can search this forum about slotting a arms if you have never heard of doing this before.

I am pretty sure these are the ole Pole Position companies units.
If so these are basically the same arms in the Nascar hobby classes and truck racing classes. Before the crossbars on these unit were at 6" space. The ball joint configuration had to be changed. I have a set of the pole position arms and redrilled the 6" spacing but haven't set up the ball joints because I just haven't gotten around to putting them on the car. As for handling, you want lighter weights, ease of rotation and as little friction, no bushing deflection such as with rubber and poly, and as much adjustability as possible. If they have reengineered these and have an application specific for our cars, then they would be way better than stock by a mile. It all depends on how much we all want to spend. What also attracted me to these types of units is the open A, and since I am contemplating shock towers, reconfiguring the spring pockets for clearance, and then coilovers, these would allow me to bring the shock up and thru the a-arm and maintain the strength needed.

Here's the old pole position arms, they were not available bolt in like from above source or savitske. The frame was modified for them (welded and redrilled as the holes would otherwise partly intersect)
