Default Can I hook my elect. chock to my coil +?

I had it hooked to the wiper wires, but I thought it would be better to hook to the coil. Is this exceptable?

I ran a wire in to the cabin and used the IGN terminal on the fuse box.

No backup light switch hooked up right now, so that should work. Will eventually kill the edelbrock and go to a double pumper, so it will just be a temp hook up.

Thanks all.
