10185063 ZZ4 Intake
Hi guys,
I'm building an 880 roller block for my Z. Was checkin' on the ZZ4 intake. Lot's out there, and cheap... WAY cheap...
This intake is .1" higher than an edelbrock "performer" (that's the teeny one like a weiand action plus). But, GM claims a whole 1970 Z-28 manifold o'power..... hmmm I say... how is this possible...
Certainly, some of you guys have asked about the mysterious holes in the bottom of the carb plenum.... twilight zone stuff huh? actually, that's the smoke and mirror. ever heard of a crossover pipe on an exhaust? sure u have... same thing, intake style... look underneath, it's like cutting the plenum divider, but with better results. smart? hell yeah!!! but that's why we like genuine GM parts.....
