Hi

I can't view the link due to server problems from my side, but I guess you mean http://www.corvette-stingrays.com/index.html , do you ?

I don't know what exactly he did to the driveline, but it surely does not beat a good coil over system front & rear.

The QA1 or Koni coil over system is the best handling C3, I ever drove and my 68 will gett his soon as well.

Default Who?

The guys name is Manfred Kubetschek... deals and repairs Vettes in Nürnberg, Germany. Been in business for I guess at least 15 years.

The car you see has 500 horses, 6-speed, 400 cui all-alluminum smallblock and a race chassis.

Wesh's link takes you too his site.

Thomas

You have any idea where he gets his chassis designs? something he designed himself? i can tell from the video that the rear track from his chassis is wider than anything that i have ever seen. im lookin to do something real nice with my '75. and if its gonna mean building an entire tube chassis than thats cool. im having difficulty putting the stock one into ProEngineer with just measuring it and then creating it in ProE, thinkin that i could do modifications to it, because it's in good shape. the car has been garaged for the last 15 years. so there is hardly any rust.

anyone have any ideas?

That is a nice video. I just dont like the way the car looks with the overly wide tires and fender flares. In my opinion they take away from the look of the car.

180K Euros thats about $268,000 US Dollars I think I'll take a ZR-1 instead and keep the change for tires. Here I thought I was going way over budget with my $1.2K Dry Sump system on my LT1 and $1K Koni shock rebuild/mods (just got the call from Koni in Kentucky that the shocks have made it to the top of their list.) I'm glad to see that our freinds in Germany are keeping up the C3 faith but, I would have done some things way more "stealth" than that 70 but, they like to make their "statements" with their "Pimpmobiles" over there

Hi

As littel as I know, the chassis of this car is original, nothing very special.
The car was build many years ago , so you can estimate what components are used.

Best way to find out is to ask , specially because the car is for sale. He must be able to give you more info.
