Default T56 leaking out of mechanical speedo cable.

Hi

My GM Viper T56 is leaking out of the mechanical speedo cable connection, right out of the cable nut. This only if it is parked for longer time.
Looks like if the oil finds it way past the plastik adapter gear into the cable from where it drips out of the nut being the lowest point.

During normal driving, the worm cutout in the plastig gear shaft pushes the oil back into the tranny, but I hate the oil puddle after extended parking ( hibernation ).

Can I install a seal ( O-ring ) into the cable nut or any other suggestion ?
