No. But, it's absolutely on my wish list.

Dick was instrumental in the rear suspension re-design for the C4, as the General realized his 5-bar was such an improvement over the original C3 setup. Note that this is not, nor is it intended to be a drag racing setup, so any comparisons to the 6-link are like apples and oranges. The 5-bar is engineered for ultra high-performance handling, above 1-g.

Here's a link to it for anyone wanting to know more. http://www.guldstrand.com/scripts/pr...p?idproduct=80

If you do your homework you will learn the 5-link was designed by legendary race car designer Bob Riley in conjuction with Protofab and George Foltz, the original price was $1380.......I believe it was also Riley who designed the C-4 rear suspension.......the Company was called RPF...formerly located in Roseville, MI

Red Vette, are you saying that Protofab has the 5 link for sale at 1380.00 or are you saying Dick bought the design and is selling it for the 2699.00 price and are they one and the same?

What it says is "the ORIGINAL price was $1380.00" the 5-link has been around for 30 years (give or take a few)....

nice picture thanks

1380 would be doable, 2600 is a whole other ball game.

And yes I'm into performance driving, not drag racing.

In the early '80's, you could get the whole shebang, complete with Koni dbl adj coil-overs, for about $2K from Guldstrand. How times have changed.

redvetracr, I wasn't aware of RPF and the C4, but then I haven't exactly kept up too much with the that gen. Just knew Dick did the C4 GS and have heard stories thru his staff.

wow, 5 years ago it was $1900, then it was $2200, now $2700. Makes a whole new chassis a lot more attractive.

Yeah, I think I will stick with a little toe change in the back.
