Default Wheelhop issues

Hello everybody.
Got a small issue with wheelhop and was curious to if the shock absorbers is the culprit.
I`ve got a set of Red Adjustable Konis and they are set pretty hard in the rear.
Would it help if i loosened them up a bit?
The problem is when i get on it in second or third the rear starts to hop and it bugs me.
From a standstill its not a problem

i don't know about the shocks, but i've found that if i shift a litle early (4500 or so) and jam on it, i'll hop as well. run it up to about 6K and hit it, no problem - it just gets gone...

since i didn't help any, here's a bump

Make sure the diff. nose bushings are good.

I thought spring weight has the largest impact to prevent wheel hop.

Make sure everything is tight first. Lots of places for things to move around back there.

Luckily I've never had any wheelhop issues, but I know several folks that have. Seems like the added on *traction bar* always cures the issue. You can buy them or build one. It's not really a traction bar...it basically stiffens the differential mounting by running a bar to the crossmember in front of diff. But it does work.

Again, double check all bolts and bushings. The aluminum discs to stiffen the *sombrero* bushings will help too.

Here are a few things that you can do..

1) poly differential bushings instead of rubber
2) stiff rear spring (over 360 lbs/inch)
3) QA-1 shocks (start at 7 clicks and keep tightening up until wheel hop stops
4) traction bar (traction bars work best with rubber differential bushings)
