Today's the day. We started to disconnect everything to pull the L48 and make room for the LT-1
More pic's to come as the project gets underway.

just the top half has been worked on new intake & carb maybe a valve job not sure I didn't do the work, but I was told is also has a new cam & seals. Runs like it as a beefy cam. But its too late for frost, Mark from NC owns this motor now. I think he's putting it into a 75 coupe. I was going to keep it #'s matching & all but who am I kidding. I'm not going to sell it after putting all this $$ into a hot motor. Now the long period of not having a vette to drive kicks in.

I was gonna ask you what you were doing with the motor and I live in Jersey too.

Jim,
I should have an LT1 from a caprice after this weekend for my '75. Any issues you can think of ahead of time that I should be ready for? Clearences, etc.?

No blood or grease on your hands. I think those pictures were just staged shots.

Are you sticking to stock specs or upgrading slightly. I still have some of the LT1 parts from my motor. The only thing left from my LT1 is the block and oil pump. All else has been changed.
