Rear spring cushion cup
For 75. I removed the 9 leaf spring and it appears the cushion cups are swaged or otherwise permanently attached into the spring. What is the proper way to install new ones into the new 7 leaf replacement.
Does it even need to be attached or will it stay in place once the cushions and bolts are in place?
Any tips, tricks, or hints?

It will stay in place as there is always pressure on it. It you want to peen it over, use a hammer with a round head on it and hit the back of it to roll it over.

I made a 45* tool to flare them and then use a ball peen to flatten.
