I need some how-to on this procedure.I tried search but to no avail.I know I originally learned of the need for this here on C-3 but I don't remember how.If anyone can direct me to this info or would be kind enough to fill me in I would really appreciate it....Thanks ....JW714

Anywhere ANYWHERE you can set the magnetic base is good enough. the dial indicator will travel around the flywheel in a perfect circle. Just get the base good a solid on the flywheel with the dial indicator touching the inside of the bearing retain hole, at right angles to the surface you are measureing, zero the gage and turn away. It will travel in a perfect circle.
