Default Pics of Stahl Headers on 540

Here's pics of my 540 with the Stahl sidepipe headers installed. I don't have the sidepipes yet, hopefully they'll be done with them this week. The headers look great! The welding is perfect!

Look Good! Any problems with interference with the frame, sterring box etc?

How will the side tubes attach? Slip fit like Hookers? what's the diameter of the side tubes?

Looks

How come I get a vision of someone sitting in a chair between the frame rails, shifting the tranny making "vroom, vroooom" noises ?

Thanks! One of the set screws on the steeroids u-joint assembly rubbed one of the primaries, so I'll have to use a short set screw on that one and use lok-tite instead of the nut. Other than that, fits perfect! I had to remove the starter to install, but that's the only other problem.

The side pipes are 4" - it's hard to tell by the pics. I'm not sure how the side pipes install. I'm really looking forward to getting them to find out though.

I have to contain myself so I don't wear it out! Have to admit though, I have broken out the lawn chair a couple times!

Hey, that isuzu is awesome (according to my wife)

Actually, in 4 low, it's pretty quick Launches like crazy But after the noises it made the 1st time I tried it, I haven't launched like that since, so yeah, it sucks. I haven't bought anything better so I'll be more motivated to finish the 4 year long Vette project.

HAHA Done that a few times too! I can't wait to get it on the back tires. Really sucks having to use an engine hoist on the back end to roll it around I think I'll look into your 6-link setup now!

I'm going to call them tomorrow or Tuesday to ask about the sidepipes. I'll check on the stainless. I've seen other threads where they've done custom work, so you never know...

With that monster air cleaner, what style hood are you planning on? Nice by the way!

I may go with a smaller air cleaner. I had seen pics of someone that had modified an L88 hood, that's probably what I'll try to do. Thanks!
