I bought a set of vinyl tops some years ago from mid america, they were awfull they had enormous gaps and did not fit properly, I sent them back. Have you tried out your tops and have you seen any fit problems? have you drove in the rain with the vinyl tops on or pass the water hose test? If they fit great can you tell me how much were they and can you send me the store address and/or number and info?
THANKS

I have one set - I received without both pins for the back so I devised an adjustable strap to bring the back edges toward the middle - I've had these on in moderate rain and up to 65-70MPH - with any major water in cabin.

So, if you are using them like I do when I don't have the rack on and don't want to lug the tops behind the seats - but want something just in case of rain they work great.

Didn't they cost about $250.00 back when you could get them? Good news is a good used/usable set goes for $100 tp $150 now, a little more with the bag.

Looks like I might have another pair for sale.

I'm guessing you meant WITHOUT? If so, I am interested in a set. They are no longer available new?

I have found I can drive my '79 at 65 mph in the rain without ANY top installed and not get wet. Its when you slow down that the rain comes in.

They are not hard at all to install. I sold mine a few years back as I never used them but they were nice if they stayed together. Do not fold them more than required and they should last a long time. Joints/hinges were not the most durable.

I wonder how my '74 will do in the rain with tops off and back window out? Probably get wet.
