Default Bird Cage QUESTION

I feel like a complete idiot asking this... but what part of the car do you refer to as the Bird Cage?

Basically, it's the metal structure that surrounds the passenger compartment. If you're looking at another C3, take a good close look behind the kick panels; that's one of the worst parts of the bird cage for rust.

1981 at St. Louis. Birdcages in a fixture being welded up.

Completed birdcages with a few fiberglass panels attached.
