No flames, please, but in High School I had a '65 Mustang that I loved. If I got a SECOND older ride, a Mustang like I had then would be very nostalgic to me. But then, I'd rather spend the money on the BlueL36 than a second older ride...

I ordered a 66 fairlane gt back in 66, with a 4 speed. The transmission
plant went on strike and cars with 4 speeds were backorder 2 to 3 months. After 2 1/2 months I went to the dealer to cancel my order. It was supposed to be red with black interior. The dealer just put a black gta in the showroom and said why don't you buy this car. I said
I didn't want a automatic as I never had one since started driving in the 1958. He let me test drive it and wow this car flew. The only car that beat me bad at the time was 66 nova ss with a 327. Not sure of
the HP this guy had stock but he told me 375. Not up on chev motors
so I not sure if he was telling the truth. Anyway he lost it on a drag
about 3 months later and totaled it.

Wait, don't go....I'm not done yet.......
.....we could have had a latte........(from Young Frankenstein)
The cars I would like to have: 911 Porsche or Cayman, Ferrari Daytona,
65 Shelby Mustang, Shelby Cobra, 69 Z28, 70 AAR Challenger in Gun Metal Grey, BMW M6, 69 AMX, Hemi Cuda, New Z06 Vette....
More than likely I will end up buying either a 911, Cayman or the new 'vette sometime in the near future.........(keep your fingers crossed)......

Drifting
Doh!
I recently gave a '93 Shadow away for FREE. The only problem it had was a blown head gasket and a saggy headliner. Everything else was replaced in the last 2 years - brakes, rotors, master and slave cylinders, shocks, struts, exhaust, etc.
You could'a had your dream car!

Safety Car
Ok, I'll chime in with my wish list.
64 Impala SS 409 4 speed convertible in medium or dark blue metallic
67 GTO 400 4speed convertible in red with white top and interior
70 Hemi Challenger in Plum Crazy
70 Z/28 in yellow with black stripes and interior
Oh, and I want my 65 Sting Ray convertible back! I sold it for $9,000 in 1986 to settle a divorce. Worst move I ever made. I should have borrowed the money to settle the divorce and kept the Vette.

I guess I should chime in and admit that I have my hands full with my '71 and the '94 Sportster. My son will be sharing my garage/workshop and he's on the hunt for a '70 Chevelle and I'll for sure help with that! Time and money limit some of these projects, and of course my job tends to get in the way of my personal pleasure time.

while growing up i had a charger, cudas and a few challengers. i was never able to give up my last challenger which is currently the Lt-1's stable mate. she's an original 70 challenger r/t 440 sixpack, pistol grip 4spd and a 410 dana 60 that's been under going a very slow resto. if there was ever to be one to get it would definitely be a 67 427 roadster.
