Default How long have you owned your C3?

How long have you owned your C3?
If you have multiple C3's, which one have you owned the longest and how long did you own it?

Poll should be up in a minute...

Bought it in '85 so I have owned it 21 years.
Only owned the one Vette but I have a 68 Bonneville coupe which I bought in '91.

Bought mine in 1986, had it dilivered by a tow truck since it hadn't been run since 1980. Never drove a single foot in the car before pulling the motor, selling it and installing a LS6 454.
Since then I have put $30,000-$40,000 in it. A real money pit that I am going to stop after completing this 540.

New with 5 to choose from. I picked the blue 79 l-82 with nearly all the options with 1.2 miles. I now have 165,000 and some original parts.

Let's see, I started with a 67 BB vert purchaced in 68 and stolen Christmas eve in 69. but that's OT

1970 - 454/LS5 coupe purchased in 71 - now a.k.a. RamJet
1970 - LT-1 coupe purchased in 86 - fouth owner, I have since tracked down all previous owners up in Iowa.
1969 - 427/ 390hp vert - brother purchase it in 74 after putting it's twin upside down in a creek. The twin was purchased in 70. He passed in 96 and I did a little fixing up keeping it the way I think he would have wanted it.

I respectfully decline to participate. I have two Corvettes. If I respond to the poll with the info for my '68, my '80 will be pissed. If I use the info for the '80...well, you see my problem. Either way, you'd be getting me in trouble with one of the girls.

Best course of action is to stay neutral, however, I can safely say double digits for each without offending either.

A little over 6 years... and hopefully for many more.
Don't know the original owner, but have history back to 76.

Bought my first C3 in 86 a 79 L-82 that I owned for 3 years. I've now owned a C3 since 1998, a 75 L-82, 71 LT-1, 70 LT-1, and the 70 LT-1 that I currently have. Owned the 71 the longest, 4+ years.

Bought it when I was 16 with my paper route money. Now I'm 26.
