77 Corvette Steering Wheel
I need to pull my stock Tilt/Telescoping steering wheel.
I thought I was going to have to figure out how to "Pry off horn button cap" (according to my shop manual), but the damn thing just fell off yesterday. Thing is, I can't figure out how it really is supposed to be removed normally.
The reason is that the cap has three rivets integrated into it, and they seem to have been attaching the cap to a steel ring. Simple enough, except that that ring is attached to another steel ring with 2 nylon screws and nuts, and 1 nylon push in fastener.
Were there supposed to be 3 nylon push fasteners or what?
Thanks in advance. George
