Default Fluid Dampners

Has anyone seen or used the no name fluid dampners? They seem to all be from China and are around 1/3 the cost of the name brand but if they are junk then why bother. I've seen one brand which supposedly carries the SFI certification so maybe it isn't too bad but since you can't see the internals of these things it may still be a crap shoot.

Thanks for any feedback.

I tried the Chinese brand "Professional Products". It was SFI certified and looked pretty stout. It worked great for two whole weeks before to the outer ring spun.

I guess that answers that question pretty clearly. That is what I expected to hear about the quality of these offshore parts.

Thanks
