or you can just get out of the car and lend a hand...
oh yea... you left two nice oil slicks in front of my shop... was that all from the pressure gauge line?

I have not experienced this but I know someone who has. The radical cam killed my friends vacuum in his 72. He had to run a vacuum canister to fix the problem. One like these http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...701&D=%2D45701 . Not sure if this will help your case but it is a thought.

probably my oil cooler lines to the radiator
as for the vac canister, I've got one from the factory already... the thing is, EVERYTHING worked before I replaced the lines..

Please give the website where that troubleshooting guide can be found as it refers to clicking here, etc. for diagrams and photos and cannot be done without actually going to the website.
If not does anybody have a color coded diagram of the vacuum system on this car (or black and white if not)??
My system has been so butchered by amatuers for several years that
nothing original in the routing is recognizable. Many hoses are even cut and left hanging for no apparent reason.
Helllllllpppp

The easiest "temporary" solution is to put the lights up manually...
Another thing that you can try is to turn on the lights first and then start the car.. I have to do that for my lights to come up.. If I turn them on with the car running, it takes a few minutes of driving before they start coming up.. It's very strange...

I got so sick of that (IMHO) antiquated, ridiculous way of running headlights up and down that this site was a GODSEND!!
http://www.mcspeed.homestead.com/Our_Products.html
Check it out, it's a real easy mod to perform. Chris has thought it all out very well and is a mega helpful guy to boot.
Now, pull the headlight switch, headlights immediately go up. Push the switch in, headlights immediately go down - EVERY time!

put the hose back in, and the doors both went down.. but it took some time.
kept playing with the switch, and they seemed to speed up but it still takes a LONG time. any ideas?
