i like it.....i can't remember why you are doing this though??? i like the press set up and will have to remember that on my hot rod project....it reminds of the fact that my god father was a master carpenter and had so few tools compared to me but damn he could use each one a thousand ways....

I'm installing the March serpentine system (compact system) the one that fits infront of the motor. I think LIQUIDDRAGON has this set up on his SBC. I need to give the crank pulley a little more room.

I took some pics last night but they are so dark I could not see anything in the pics. I will take some tommorrow and post, I still have to tack in another filler piece and than weld it up. There are some pics in the link in my second post of the cross member after I cut the hole in it.

I'm just asking because I made custom cross member exhaust cross under to clear my three inch header pipes. They are posted here. Back a few weeks.

The ney sayers were asking about strength. How many of them had a many motors and many transmissions and 100,000 miles of fun!

My 79 Vette was doing 12.70's in the late mid to late 80's with a hot 355 ci and th350

I just went out and the odometer says 163,287 ----- I bought it with 1.3 miles on it in 1980. 79 L-82 Window price was $12,836.37 as optioned They had 5 of them..... I was 21 years old and had money in my pocket and bought it
