Default Were are the front body mounts?

I can't see them anywere. Is the front of the body connect to the radiator support? My fenders vary almost 1 inch and im trying to fix it.

The #1 body mounts are on the bottom of the firewall to the outside.

#2 under the door hinge post

#3 in front of the trailing arm throught the fender hatch

#4 behind the rear wheel at the back of the fender well.

The #1 body mounts are on the frame. You can see them from underneath the car. There's a flange welded on the frame that has the bolt hole that goes up into the body the mate the body to frame.

The radiator frame, which is typically attached to the body, is also attached to the frame front crossmember. The radiator frame is also a body/frame attach structure, but it isn't labelled with the body mount numbers; #1,#2,#3,#4.

Look at your AIM manual. It shows the location of the body mounts.

I knew about all those . What supports the nose of the car? All my body mounts are fine and the right hand side is 1 inch higher than the left hand side.

Its been a while since I looked at my project, but I believe it is radiator support and frame horns. On your car it might be bumper support and frame horns.

I didn't know those were important.

I don't think it is the bumper support. Since all it supported was the bumper which I took off.

Could a rusty radio support cause it?

Im thinking I should take off the radiator support fix all the rust and then remount it and see what happenes. If it still doesn't look right I'll drill the mountiing holes higher.

I have the same issue on a '70. Driver side is about 1 inch lower than passenger side. On mine, I believe I can shim the radiator support to correct the problem, but I'm not 100% sure...

Those holes are slotted to allow adjustment of the nose height. My nose drooped after sitting 2 years without the radio support. Just take a look and see if you see the slots and see if you can adjust the nose.

I re-installed this entire thing when I replaced my front bumper. Without it, you'll mess up the entire front clip in the event that you hit something.
I did have to cut some of the rubber stuff off to make the new bumper fit.

Check if one of your bumpers has been replaced, maybe it's not in the correct position ??

You can shim the #1 and #2 body mount to correct fender gap alignment, not too much of course, but a little bit is ok... I would loosen the body mounts and shim as required. When I replaced my body mounts I lifted the body 1" without disconnecting anything but the brake lines at the master and the battery cable... nothing broke, it worked just fine...
