Does driveshaft have to be installed at same time as differential?
I'm getting ready to reinstall my differential. This is my first time doing so. Can I install the diff first and then install the driveshaft, or do I have to install them at the same time?

The shaft can be installed after the diff is mounted, they have the flat face yokes with straps.

Gary,
I did not want to send you another IM since I've already sent you so many in the last few days. Thanks.

Yes, much easier to put in at the same time. It is a very tight fit if you try to do it later. Save yourself the headache and do it now. At least that is my experience with it.
