It is a very large picture. Also featured in the pic is the rubber that caused the big crack.

I made it home 3 miles after it happened. I just went very slow and didn't make any sudden moves. The noise coming from my rearend after it happened were like none I have ever heard. I knew I had broke something.

It was a 3.08 and I already put in another 3.08. I have a richmond 5 speed so it is a good fit.
Ok, here is the lowdown on how it happened. It was the first night I ran with the Mickey Thompson ET Streets at our local track. My first run, I didn't expect the tires to grab as good as they did and I completely bogged off the line. My next run I launched around 3500 rpm and it didn't last 30ft before I heard/felt it break. I let off the gas and coasted back to the pits. I really thought it was a ujoint the way it sounded/felt going back to the pits. I checked everything out and it all looked good from the outside. So I took a chance and drove it home and parked it. I was kinda pissed and didn't look at it for about 8 months. About 3 weeks ago I decided to find out what happened and took it apart and put the new rearend in.
I will have to take the camera back out and show the other side of it also. The crack goes all the way around! It will be in two pieces when I take it out. The other side was hitting the gears and is VERY worn. There were plenty gear teeth missing.

12.3 at 115. I have never been able to get traction. My best 60' was 1.85ish. Add that with me being the slowest shift in the west and I don't think that I will ever hit 11's in the Hawaiian warm weather.

If you would've gone with 3.70 gears, you might get into 11's too...
I was running a 3.27 first gear on my TKO and a 3.70 rear and I got 1.59 - 1.65 60' times...

Holy smokes!!!!
And people can't understand why I want to convert my rear end to a sold axle Ford unit. One look at that crack would be enough to convince me NOT to re-install that flimsy IRS setup again.
Hey Olivier...check out my thread on bolting in a solid axle WITHOUT back-halving the car. Seems it CAN be done and has already been done.
Same transverse rear spring too!

I'm just dying laughing from the thread title: "Anybody want to see the bad crack in my rearend?" and the later post: "The noises coming from my rearend after it happened were like none I have ever heard."
