Default Wheel and Tire Suggestions

I am interested in putting Boyd Coddington Junkyard Dog Wheels on my red 1976 Vette. The wheel options are 18X7 and 18X8 and I was thinking of staggering them. Does any member have any recommendations on tire sizes that would go good with those wheels. I have tried an online visualizer but they only show the wheel size and not the tire. Please help as any recommendations are appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time

18X8 front and rear with 4" backspace with a 255/48-18 tire. The 255 in the front may rub the fender on the leading edge and in the corner at the beginning of the rocker molding. Look a '78 Pace Car front fender to see what I'm talking about. You may have to drop back to a 245/45-18 tire if there is rubbing issues. So if you don't mind staggered fit buy 2 and see if they fit. If not they become the rears and you drop down a size for the front.

I'm very happy with my 255/45/18 Continentals on my 18x8.5" wheels, front and back. Sometimes I wish I staggered them but with around 380hp, it's good. Can spin the wheels when I want to, and keep control when I need to.
