63-79 VBP Perfomance Plus Kit for sale
I am 90% sure that I have sold my shark. I should know in 2 weeks. I purchased a VBP Performance Plus kit last year with the intention of installing it this winter. Unfortunately, I was not part of the group buy that the forum had. Anyway I have a brand new, only opened to confirm packing slip Performance Plus kit 63-79 for sale. VBP wants $2300, I paid $2000. I have switched the ball joints, tie rod ends, and idler arm to MOOG, instead of VBP stuff. I am looking to get $1900 plus shipping. That will save you $400 and you get the MOOG parts. Sorry, I just got in and seen I had email. Anyway to answer your question about MOOG. I decided to upgrade to MOOG because of several reasons. First when I was ordering the kit the person I talked to couldn’t tell me what they used. I have always used MOOG parts in the past and have had excellent results. As a matter of fact last week I just replaced the original ball joints, tie rod ends and idler arm on my F150 with all MOOG. I was looking to rebuild the suspension once and only once so I wanted to do it right. The other reason is the warranty that you get with MOOG. Locally and I have no reason to believe that it is not the same nationally, there is a lifetime warranty on the parts. If you have a problem you go to the local auto store and get a replacement, unlike mailing to Florida to VBP. The kit that VBP makes is fantastic, I just think MOOG was I nice upgrade to a great product. IMO. I am not a salesman for the MOOG products, it is just something that I feel is a superior product that has always worked for me

UCRed, I've been planning to purchase this same kit through Eckler's (they have it for $1999, much cheaper than VBP), but I'd be interested in yours if the savings was significant. I'll send you an email.
