Default Rear End Posi Differential

Looking for a good working 3.36, 3.55 or 3.70 posi differential and housing for a 70-79 C3
Would be great if it was in the Southern US.

Thanks,
Ron Pyles

FYI, the 63-77 differential spring mount anchor plate holes use 5/8” bolts and the 78-79 uses 1/2” bolts

Just wanted you to be aware so you know to have or get the correct anchor plate and bolts to match

Cheers,
Richard

A word of caution/advice on buying a used differential. As Forrest Gump said, “… you never know what you’re gonna get”.

You could get lucky and end up with a low mile pristine unit with no issues (highly unlikely) or one needing virtually everything inside needing to be replaced or anything in between (and ready to fail).

What’s wrong with the one you have now?

Mine is a 64' posi that's pretty much GM's worst design.
With the future LS3 swap looming, it's not going to last long.

AZ,

I have a potential differential bought, but if it falls through I'll call you back.
Thanks,
Ron Pyles
