Freshly restored 69-76 Tilt/Tele steering column
I just picked this up in Brewster, NY after having Steering Columns Galore restore this for me. I wanted to add a Tilt column to my 69 and so I bought 2 used columns with problems to make 1 good column. This particular column is out of a 74. Come to find out, the columns were both restorable. Keeping one for my car and letting this one go. It is painted SEM Landau black. The only mechanical part replaced on this was the splined shaft. Included with this column include the following new parts. $2500.00. Not sure how to ship to keep from damaging collapsing feature so prefer pickup.
1. New ignition switch
2. New turn signal switch
3. New ignition cylinder with 2 keys
4. New unpainted horn cap
5. New turn signal and Tilt levers
6. New steering hub nut and washer
7. New upper horn contact with 3 new shims
8. New upper horn contact spacer
9. New star bolt retaining screws
10. New horn contact screws
11. New column to firewall gasket
12. New lower bearing (not sure about upper)

Forgot to mention as an alternative to shipping, I will be driving from GA to the NYC metro area and back around Christmas, and from GA to south Florida and back just after the new year. Would be glad to haul the column and meet up.

I will be heading from GA to South Florida soon so if anyone along the way wants this and save the hassle of shipping it. This is a bolt your wheel on and go column. Needs no additional parts to be up and running in your car. Here is what this costs to do. $750.00 for the used column shipped to me, $1200.00 to rebuild including shipping both ways, plus $200.00 for new horn parts etc. So you can see at $2200.00, I am letting it go for what it cost to do one of these.
