QJet #17058206
To all C3 Forum Members:
Am preparing to in the near future to give my grandson my 78..
Looking to purchase a completely and correctly rebuilt Q Jet # 17058206 that is ready to install and run with the OE hot air choke assembly..I have an extra set of steel tubes!!
And yes I know about Lars bc he did the one on mine...But at that time did not sell Q jets as far as I can remember!!

Burning Brakes
This is not rebuilt and needs some TLC (cosmetically)
, but it came off a running '78 last year and worked fine, it's the number you want. PM me if interested, thinking $60 for the carb plus shipping, so I'd say $85 shipped if you want it, if not, no problem 👍 L48, AC, Automatic Carb

That's a very nice, rebuildable, original carb.

Well Lars I tend to agree with you but the only way I'd even consider it is if I did buy it from him he'd have to agree to send it you for your magic and then you'd send it back to me!!!
Of course I'd cover his shipping expenses and deal with you for a final ship to me cost...

Burning Brakes
Can send wherever, it came off of an Oregon car, obviously things can be replated and wanted it accurately represented, not some quick steel wool action! As you can see, internally the condensation had no effect, as the car was driven, fast idle worked, kicked down and secondaries opened, I don't think it's ever been messed with! If OP wants to PM me email, I will send PayPal friends and family info and Lars can PM me shipping address, up to you guys! And Thank you Lars for chiming in, it is a good solid start! Photos were taken with flash on which enhanced ugliness, the main body pieces however, should clean up nicely! Let me know 👍
