The 7-leaf spring for the C3 was part of the F-41 suspension option. However, each leaf had the flared end like the smallest two in your photos. Looks like this was originally a 9-leaf that was modified to a 7-leaf by cutting off the ends of some of the middle leafs to size.

I think it was remanufactured at a spring shop possibly
It is possible to sequentially cut the springs shorter but I think the longest and second longest springs would still need to be manufactured by someone. The spring looks to have the correct arch for a seven leaf. If ride height was good, it probably was working. I don’t recall seeing spring liners in the pictures? Interesting. Not anything I have ever seen before. Terr
