I have a starter 1108778 dated 5k7; I believe this starter was manufactured November 7, 1975. I recently removed if from my 1966. When I removed I was not working well - however was able to start the car with it; in my opinion it should be removed before using.

The forum has been good to me with advise etc over the years. If anyone would like this starter, pay the shipping and it’s yours.
