Looking for 1969 USED NCRS "Show Tires"
Guys,
Looking for a good set (5) of 1969 "correct" Goodyear Speedway Widetreads F70x15.
I prefer a raised white "small letter" but I'll consider Firestone Wide Oval Wite letter, Goodyear Red/White Line or Goodyear Black Walls for the right price.
Just call or send me a text- I'm not on the Forum too often.
205-475-7698
Thanks!
Rick

Hi scg,
Do your homework on the original tires.
Many of the tires being sold (especially if in a set of 4) as "original off my 69", are in fact sets of Kelsey or Coker reproduction tires.
There seem to be more original Goodyear than Firestone tires around. I've wondered if that's a reflection of the percentage of each brand that was being installed on cars?
Good Luck!
Regards,
Alan

Burning Brakes
I was able to find a set for judging a few years back. I needed every possible point for a Duntov with a basically unrestored car with a repaint. Don't pay the crazy ebay prices people ask for these tires. You should be able to put together a set for about $1200

Rick,
I have a nice original firestone thin whitewall that I am not going to use. I was going to use it as my spare, but went another route. Let me know and I can send pics. No cracking and lots of tread left.
