WTB: Goodyear Eagle GT tires, 255 / 60 R15 outline white letters
Anybody have any of these?
Goodyear Eagle GT tires in size 255 / 60 R15 with raised outlined white letters. I'd like a pair, or set of 4.

unless you can find someone who has them in your area, i'd say that you're better off buying them from a local shop because shipping costs will be more than what you'd pay for the tires. are these tires discontinued? maybe that's why you're looking for them on the net. i'm pretty sure that the ST's are still made. that's what i've got.

You can get the Eagle GT11,GT+4.Not the Eagle GT R.W.L. or Eagle ST. They discontinued them. You may find some but as far as a line tire, nope. The Eagle ST was made into the gold letter Eagle then into the gold letter Nascar. :cheers: Chuck

I am in the suburban Phila. area. I have 6 Eagle GTs (255 /60 15) 4 are pretty well worn but cosmetically very good. 2 were recaps and have a lot of tread and are cosmetically very good. You can contact me at markd6526@aol.com.

Yea Ed let's keep it at the top :) I wasn't trying to debate you I am just saying the tire isn't offered any more but like any tire you can find them around. Maybe like an NOS part. I was just trying to add a little info to the post. :) :cheers: Chuck

Ed have seen them in Hemming for $1000 NOS. Are you going to Carlisle? I will be at the Fairfield 2 exits east. Chuck

nascar314, this is markd. As I mentioned I have 6 Eagle GTs. I just checked tread depth, 2 are at 7/32, 2 are at 3/32 and the 2 recaps are at 9/32. To the rest of you, I didn't see any GTs at Carlisle last year, but the year before I saw a few used ones sold for $350.00 each. They have not been manufactured for well over 10 years, maybe 15. They are near impossible to find NOS. Anyone interested in mine can Email me at markd6526@aol.com
