Higher than Stock Bulged Press Molded Type Hood
If interested email me at sfaboston AT hotmail.com
I got this hood for my car, I had it mocked up in place and it had great clearance for the intake etc, but ended up getting an L88 hood. I was on the fence about taking my wiper door off, but really want to stay with an original style hood so I am going to sell this one. This hood is nearly new. Was installed on a 1970 then removed. I got it to run on my car but going in a different direction now.
This hood is nearly new and was on a 1970 Corvette. It is from Corvette Central part number 14315. It has a smooth inside, same style as press molded. I don't know if it is press molded, but the inside is completely smooth, looks to be press molded.
It bolts on to a 1968-1976 and is 2 inches higher than stock with smooth inner gel coat liner. Eliminates wiper door on 68-72.
It is in very nice condition. Brand new it goes for $789 plus $300 in shipping cost.
I will sell mine for $750 shipped in lower 48

I might be if I could get one of the pictures to open up. I just put a 383 crate engine in my 73 and put a new intake manifold on thats much higher than the original and I'm concerned that I'll need a higher hood for clearance. please PM me a good photo.
Thanks,
Mark
