I recently found an unmolested '79 vette with the base 190 HP engine and stock TH 350 transmission that has only 22,700 miles on it. The motor starts with no problem. There is slight blue smoke at start-up because the 35 year old oil seals need replacing. The engine pulls good as does the TH350 tranny.

I have a rockin' and rollin' roller motor and 700R4 that I intend to put in it and I want to sell the original drive train to a Corvette person who may be looking for a period correct drive train. I offer first dibs to members of the this forum: $1500.

The motor and tranny are still in the car if you would like to test drive it. I am located in north east Florida, Jacksonville area.
