WTB: Good used gas tank or new Quanta tank.
If you have a new Quanta GM-33E gas tank that you will not be using for whatever reason or a good used factory 69-70 tank that you will be replacing, please let me know.
Thanks.
EDIT: Gas tank has been purchased and I'm no longer looking.

Did you end up with the Quanta? Did it fit?

I ended up buying a new Canadian made Spectra tank part #GM33E (for my application) off ebay for $144. Same part # as the Quanta tank. The only difference is the Spectra tank doesn't have the O.L. Anderson stamp like the original does. I decided not to spend the extra money on the Quanta tank because O.L.A. stamp is clocked 90 degrees from the way the originals were stamped. I figured why pay the extra money for a correct tank when it's not actually correct. But that's just me. I'm not sure but I think Spectra and Quanta is the same company. I could be wrong about that but both are Canadian made and have the same part #.
The Spectra tank fit perfectly and I was very pleased with it's construction and finish. The tank has been in the car and in use for about 5 months now and so far I've had zero problems.
The ebay seller I bought it from is still selling them and it's still the same price.
