I have this same hood and am inquiring about any info you have about it. The name of it, manufacturer, etc. Mine has the front and rear of the scoop "open". Thanks for any info.

Originally made by Fast Glass then Legendary Fiberglass in PA (same company, name change for legal reasons) and sold by Motion and Nickey Chevrolet. There is or was a California company making a repro that still has the trim indents. I don't believe it was ever offered as a "long" hood.

Nice hood. Does it have a specific name? Don't mean to bug you about it, just wondering so I can maybe find an insert for the front of the scoop. What would I do if/when I get caught in the rain? I could make one but making it removable is the trick!!!

In the Motion catalog it was called the H-14A Phase III style hood. The only difference is the H-14 with an L 88 air box. Back in the day they were just cut open. You don't drive your car in the rain, do you!!!???LOL.
