FS:Original Firestone 500s/wheels/trim rings NCRS/Bloomington
SOLD
Original Firestone 500 GR70-15 Steel Radials on original Rallye Wheels that are a must for any serious '73-'77 owner looking to get the maximum points in NCRS and Bloomington judging. Balanced with original Micro wheel weights. These lost no points when they were on my '73 for NCRS National and Bloomington Gold. Good luck ever finding a set like this anywhere else!
For sale is one separate spare and one complete set of five:
Individual 1973 spare. NCRS judges have commented that this is the nicest unmolested example in existence. It has never been driven on and still has the ink markings. VDUF FNJ472 = 47th week of 1972. $500
Set of 5. Four of them with perfect NOS trim rings with the mounting clips in the right place. $2000
VDU5 FN7397 = 39th week of 1977
VDU5 FN7117 = 11th week of 1977
VDU5 FN7234 = 23rd week of 1974
VDU5 FN7486 = 48th week of 1976
VDU5 FN7486 = 48th week of 1976
Note that if NCRS and Bloomington judges look at the dates at all, they only look at the spare, not the 4 road wheels.

Firestone 500's are not reproduced and are very difficult to find because they were recalled. The only way you usually find them is one by one at a swap meet, and they're usually cracked up turds without much tread. This is a full set mounted and balanced with NOS trim rings, correct professionally restored Rallye wheels and even the Micro wheel weights and Dill valve stem caps. Just bolt 'em on for maximum judging points!

My gosh SilverDevil, those are AMAZING.
Good luck with the sale, but if it were me I would start a
rental service on those so I can keep them forever
and help others receive Top Flight.
Absolutely wonderful wheels/tires/rings.

Yes, it's tough to part with them, because I know what it was like trying to find them in the first place. But the fact that I no longer have a 1973, and probably never will again, means that they have rather limited use to me!
