Mine is the composite one. I think all the springs went to composite in 81 except of the F41 suspension. I think that was what it was called. Those had the 9 leaf spring. My composite leaf has some small damage on it. I guess it caught something in the road one day. I didn't notice until the other day when I started pulling the rearend to replace seals.
