Default WTB Tilt Flip Front end clip....

I like to toss this out there from time to time,
I am still rooting around for a tilt front end , I would have interest in the old Ecklers monza stuff I really would like to find something more 68-72 stock looking yet flips,
Anyway I am in orlando but have no problem having what I want shipped,
Many thanks!
Cheers,
P.

... and the fun has just begun! I fell in love with this the moment I saw it, I bought the car in Pennsylvania and dragged it home to Canada last year, just had to have its got that 70s custom flair, like you said just so many ideas.

Anyone can restore one, it takes insanity to do this ... well.

Good luck.

Here's some pics:

https://plus.google.com/photos/10805...MK769yLm6u_8gE

Repaired a small 1/2 crack in the right fender well lip above the tire and a few air bubbles on the nose several years ago (thus the primer). I ran it with standard pop-up headlights for about 22 years now.

Yes, that used to be my car... That tilt front also needs the frame extension from the car to work. It was actually built form the original body and is not a aftermarket tilt front end..

Dave I love you tilt front end. How are the hinges configured and what did they use at the back to set the assembly on when it is closed for support. More pics would be great.
I had a 65 Triumph Spitfire with a tilt front and you are right, it make everything easier to work on.

So there you go Dave.
I sent you a PM but sounds like others would like to see also.

I picked the car up last year but I have been working on my Camaro finishing it off to sell it ... need Corvette $$$$ LOL so if you know anyone!

The tilt is rough and farm fresh straight from 197????? Ecklers claims it's not one of theirs though I'm not sure who would have been offering this kind of custom front at the time? The 10" Craigers hve gone away in favor of 16x8 TT2s the car will be on the road in the spring. Here are pics of the tilt mech.

Oh and just in case anyone is looking for a spring 2014 ride ...

Hi Dave,
What did they do about the radiator support? Looks like the stock one is still there. How did they separate it from the surround?

Guys, if you are going to completely veer off-track lets close this thread and start it over in the General Section. Or I can move it. This is a Wanted To Buy ad in the Parts For Sale/Wanted section. Thanks.
