I have a complete 1981 Corvette that is being used as a donor car for another project. Unavailable parts are the engine, transmission and wheels - everything else will be for sale as I remove them. The body components on this car are perfect - yes I said perfect, the interior is OK. I can send any pictures you want on request.

Here is what I have removed so far:

Hood, excellent condition $275

Doors, excellent condition with Handles, Locks and key $450

T-Tops, good condition, they operate perfectly, but need weather stripping and both have a couple of scratches on glass. $250

I'm not a vette guy and admittedly I joined this forum solely to sell these parts. I know that makes me somewhat of a carpetbagger so I'll apologize now, but I need to get rid of these parts and someone on here will appreciate them, especially the body panels. Body wise, it really is a nice car.

If you want something that isn't listed, let me know I'm sure that we can work something out. It is a complete car so I'll be removing parts as I go, or by request.

I prefer local pickup, but if that's not possible we can arrange to meet halfway, or the stuff can be shipped, but big pieces cost a lot to ship and it's a hassle, of course abything other than local pickup is on the buyers dime.

I need some things. Where are you? What color and condition is the interior? Power antenna? Automatic or manual? Factory radio? Smoked or fiberglass tops?

I am located in Lima, Ohio.
Interior is red and I would call it fair to good. No rips or tears that I recall, but the door panels and seats certainly show their wear. The dash is in amazingly good condition, no cracks, I don't even recall any fading on it. The T-Tops are mirrored on the outside, I was told that they are original to the car. The glass have a couple of minor scuffs on it, both tops are scuffed in the same place, so it must be a storage issue.

Standard antennae, and I only have the base. After market radio, though it doesn't look like the dash was modified or cut for it.

Looking for a set of side view mirrors and the horn button with emblem.

The mirrors are remote and look and work nice $50 each plus shipping. The horn button I'll have to look at before committing to it, I know it's there but I can't say the condition off the top of my head. All the parts that are off the car are in my garage, the rest of the car is in a friends garage and he went out of town this weekend. So I can look at and get pictures of the other parts Monday or Tuesday.

I'm answering every PM that I have received, so far I have about a weeks worth of evening work to get the parts off that's requested. So any request after this will probably take me a few days to respond to, this is a hobby after all But I will respond in the order that I get request. I did not anticipate how much interest there would be. I will respond in the order that they come in though to be fair.

Was it an auto or stick? I'd be interested in the bellhousing and clutch fork if it's a stick.
