75 chassis and rear rolling or seperate
I just sold my project vette and the guy decided it was too difficult to take the extra frame I have. Excellent condition. No rot at all. Just tome light surface rust on some parts. Will sell complete with rear for $500 or $300 for the frame with the front suspension and $350 for the complete rear assembly with the trailing arms. Thanks, Tom

It's A 77 Chassis
Not a problem by me that it is a 77 chassis and not the 75 chassis. I managed to locate and decode the VIN on the frame.
Chassis Ready for trip home.
Plenty of room and too much trailer for the task, but it ran smoothly.
VIN located on driver's side behind #4 mount.
17S400060
1 = Chevrolet
7 = 1977
S = Coupe
400060 is production number
Car number 60 in the production which means produced in August, 1976.
Like I said before it matters not to me but nice to know. Now, I wonder what ever happened to the original car??? That mystery most likely will never be solved.
Thanks again Tom and have a great week.

Wow. Sorry for the misinformation and glad it wasn't an issue for you. I never checked the vin. I just went off what the guy I bought it from said. Thank you again and have fun with it.

Thanks Tom. I wondered about the age because of the color I saw on the passenger side frame rail. It looked like that Corvette tan color used in 1977 (I owned a red one and an orange 77) and looked like overspray. That is what made me curious as I didn't remember that color in 1975. Again, not an issue, just some research fun facts.
Next up will be taking an inventory of parts and condition of those parts on the frame. Right now it is in the garage and up on wheel dollies for easy movement. I have a couple of projects just ahead of this one but hope to be able to start later this month. Frame cleaned up beautifully when searching for VIN and appears it will clean up nicely. Thanks again.
