F/S - Corvette Trailer Hitch - Receiver Style
SOLD, SOLD, SOLD.
Made for the 1975-1979 C-3 Corvettes by Curt. This is a receiver style of hitch, and it is class 1. It has a load rating of 3500 lbs. and a tongue weight of 350 lbs, so it is robust. I bought this in 2012, installed it and used it for three car shows.
I had this on my 1977 Corvette when I sold it and the new buyer didn't want it. New it cost me $185 plus shipping and did not include the ball. I have a 1-7/8" ball on it now but will remove that as it adds a lot of shipping weight and you may need a different size anyway depending upon what you want to tow.
I have added a new $50 lock to this as well and the entire assembly is powder coated so it will last a long time. No damage to this at all, ready to install. I have installation manual in pdf format I can send as well, took me 15 minutes. Comes with hitch, receiver bar, u-bolts, and bumper bolts necessary to install. All you need is a 1975-1979 Corvette and you should be good to go.
Asking $125 plus you pay shipping to your location in the USA only please, too heavy to ship out of Country. You are getting this for just about half price, so it is first come, first served please based on payment.
PayPal payment preferred please.
Thank you and best regards,
David Howard

Coming to Corvettes at Carlisle???
If you are interested in the hitch and coming to Corvettes at Carlisle in August I can bring this to any buyer and save those shipping costs. I am bringing the Fiero Seats I sold already, so the more parts the merrier.
Thanks for looking.

AllC34Me,
I like the "old skool" vibe of this and I think it will go nicely with what I'm doing with my '79. I'll take it!!! Send me your paypal address and we can get this done! I'm not sure that I'll get up to Carlisle, although I really should...it's not too far. Regardless, I'll send you the funds to secure it and we can work out the shipping later, okay?
