I've got a 73 that had the shoulder / lap belts. At the web site there are ttwo different replacement sets listed, 1970-1973 Single Retractor 3 Point and 72-73 Dual Retractor 3 Point. I'm assuming the original equipment was a dual retractor set up, BUT I'd rather a more modern single retractor system. Is that the differance between the two setups listed at the web site? Also could you post the installation instructions for each seat belt set so I could get a better idea of setup differances? Thanks, Russ.

corvettemods1,
I now see the difference between the two seat belt setups for the 1973 Corvette. Can either be used when the original vehicle seatbelt system was with shoulder / lap belts? Is it personal prefferance or is the single retractor an upgrade for people who only had lap belts? I'm asking so many questions because the only portion of the seat belts left in my car is the shoulder retractor, the previous owner must have pulled the seat belt latch and lap portion of the belt setup when putting in new carpet and never got to replacing the belts, so I don't know what was in the car other than the fact that the shoulder retractor is still there and in place. I'm not sure I like the idea of having a retractor under the seat..... I'm not into anything other than making the car safe to drive as in having working seatbelts. The web site does not give much info other than the fact that two versions are made for the 73 vette. Furthermore I don't want to purchase something that is not going to fit my car. Any information will be most appriciated. I want to make the purchase while you still have your sale running so please any info will help. Thanks, Russ.

I'm with rberman999 on the retractor question plus how does one get the belt through the slot on my 71 seat back since the pic shows the rubber sleeve attached to the belt. those sleeve are not very pliable.

Do you have a set made in the USA? I understand it will be more money and that is ok within reason (you mentioned $75 and that is fine). If you do offer them where could I see pictures and get info?
