Default C3 Rear Ends

CORVETTE REAR ENDS FOR SALE.

I sold my 74 drag car and have some parts left over.

ALL ARE FOR C3 (63-79).

3.55 - Original from my old '74 Corvette. Front seal seeps a very small amount and plastic vent is broken; otherwise perfect $475.00.

3.70 - This one is perfect! $550.00.

Both include good axles, front yoke (big) and front mount.
Note: the above rearends were NOT drag raced. Just some units that I had used while it was on the street.

- I also have a 4.11 built with a spacer (3-series carrier) $200.00. It is complete, but has been sitting for quite a while.

- Also, a 4-series carrier w/broken ring gear. $100.00

...and several "blown-up" rear ends for parts. All are 4.11 and have good cases. Prices start at $100.00.

.....and some other parts in various conditions - axles, pinion yokes, spider gears, nuts/bolts, p-track springs, etc. What do you need?

I'll have other stuff to post later (half-shafts, rear springs, sway bars, etc). I think a post with 100 items is too much for me to handle!!

But ask if you have a part you are looking for. I also may consider a "whole lot" offer on all I have. Let me know.

Located in Arlington, TX. Shipping would be paid by buyer.

Thanks,
Walt Z.

I still have all the rear ends. Some interest on the 3.70 and the 4.11, but none have been bought yet.

Thanks

No idea about miles. The 3.55 was the original rear for my old 74 Corvette. Speedo broke showing about 30,000 miles if I remember correctly.

It comes with the front mount as shown in pic.

Thanks,
walt

What is needed on the 3.55 and the 3.70 to recondition them to put in a car? Its a PITA to take these things in and out. Nice to get it right the first time.

Doug,

Give me an e-mail for pics. I can't text. I'll pull the cover and show gears, etc.

Thanks

The 3.70 is sold.

3.55 would need a front seal - it seeps a little. And the plastic vent on the back cover is broken off. But I would have no problem in putting it in my car and drive off.

Thanks
walt

As stated above, the 3.70 is sold. The 3.55 and 4.11 (w/spacer) are simmering on the back burner (interest, but no money yet).
I still have the 'parts' rear ends for sale. They all have good cases and side axles. $100.00
Also have the 4-series carrier w/bad ring gear. $100.00

I'm going to list other rear suspension stuff as soon as I tear into that pile. I know I see about 8 half-shafts - some 2 1/2 and some 3 inch. The 3 inch ones mostly have new u-joints (no grease fittings). Those will be $40-$50 each. More definite list coming.

All prices are "+ship" from Texas.

Thanks,
walt

Recieved the 3.70 today. Took off the rear cover to check over, all the clearence and backlash were perfect, gear pattern, perfect. No cracks or splits in the carrier. I have no problem putting this in as it is. Clean off the outside and paint, it's good to go. Your box held up fine. Thanks again.

Good to hear. That rear was the best one I had and looked perfect to me also.
Glad to hear about the shipping box. Haven't had much experience in sending something that heavy.

Have fun!

I am on the market for a rear end that will handle a radical small block with 500 pounds of Torque. I plan on racing the car so a decent gear would be suffice. My current diff is on its last leg
