What do you mean by too big? Too many CFM? Or do you mean too big in physical size?

I suppose too many cfm. I know its a vacuum secondary but I couldn't get it dialed in. It bogged off the line and right before the secondaries kicked in. I put my old Holley 570cfm street Avenger in and it works well with very little tuning. I had originally bought a Road demon (625cfm) which I thought was the perfect size for my 300hp motor but it was defective and I didn't want to try another one. I think somewhere around 600cfm would b e the perfect size for my application.

Thanks. I guess it would also be too much for my 327 then. Good thing I ran across this topic. I was thinking the 670 would be the one for my 68', but now I'm thinking 570.

The 570 is rated for 200 to 300hp. The 670 is rated 300 to 400. I have roughly 300hp on mine so I thought the 670 would be better in case I upgraded later. So depending on your application the 670 could be a better match. I'm also an idiot when it comes to tuning carbs so it might just be me and not the carb.
