Default f/s 427 BB - L72 clone-ish

Local pickup only (Austin TX area) The 10in GM nodular iron flywheel + centerforceII clutch set is not included, but available.

$5500
Let me know if you have questions or want casting numbers. The motor is still in the car at this moment, but once it comes out I can run it on my test stand. This current build has less then 500 miles on it. I have pics of the pistons/crank before I put the oil pan on and assembled the short block with the heads if interested. The motor idles nice, just a bit lopey, with enough vacuum to run the power brakes/headlights etc. Ran @ just above 180 deg (thanks to the dewitts/dual spals) on a 90deg day. Revs faster then the 327 in my 64 ;-)

I'm contemplating putting this motor in my 64 , but with some aluminum heads and single carb setup.. would anyone be interested in the 840 heads or intake/carbs?

$2000 + shipping (intake + carbs/linkage + heads)
Give me a day or so and I'll post the casting numbers.
... we'll I guess never mind the shipping as Copperas Cove is perhaps 45min from my place..
