Bought mine from Jegs. You can't get stainless anymore just chrome or black. I paid around $1,800.00 for my chrome set in 05. That was for the headers, side pipes and glasspacks. Not cheap but they really make the car look good and they sound great. You can go into my profile to see some pictures.

stainless side pipes
Thanks for the reply. Where did you find stainless pipes? Are they 4 inch? When I bought mine I checked Summit, Jegs etc. and they all told me they were discontinued.

I just got mine from my freind Josh at Custom Image Corvettes in Iowa tell him that Greg told you to call him at 507-581-3076 or at customimagecorvettes@gmail.com . Give him a call they go for 900 shipped I think , and i am very happy with mine.

I just ordered a set of Hookers in Chrome for my SB.
Damn I spotted Josh at Custom Image Corvettes ebay ad a few days too late Damn.
Good news from Josh is they will be making SS Big Block pipes soon.

You will be very happy with the chrome. Check out the pictures of my 77 with the chrome Hookers. If you have a 4 speed removing the clutch Z bar assy. will be the most difficult but simple really. You will need to have the car up on a lift also to have enough height to swing the headers up under the car. You can't go in from the top.
