DZRick is correct. 68 was the last year for the non locking steering column and the key in the dash. They were also tele only , no tilt.

Nothing else is correct for the '68s. Tele with no tilt and the ignition is in the dash.
There used to be someone on here by the name of "PINKY" from the Memphis area that modified later year tilt/teles to fit .I havent heard about him in quite awhile. Maybe some other member still remembers him or knows him.
