I will be replacing my great running, original 3970010 #010 4-bolt main 350 soon. Any interested locals can come hear it run before I pull it. Front pad is blank.

This 350 was completely rebuilt in April 1981...
block was checked
machined and bored .030 over (355 cu in.)
Flat top 9:1 [est - more if you use low compression heads] compression pistons
new 350 HP cam and 6500 rpm lifters
new Z/28 high volume oil pump
new oil pump pick up
all new bearings were installed including main, rod, and cam bearings
new timing chain and gear

Reason for switching engines - I am installing the original 365HP 327 for my car and this 350 was the "driver motor" for the last 20+ years. The miles on the car were around low 40's and now are high 46's. It has no issues or high oil consumption.

Asking only $600 for this short block. $700 with 350 heads and...

$1000 with '64 327 #461 double hump heads! [3782461] K3064 LH, L24 RH [late '64 for '65].

$500 for the double hump heads alone.

Chris, I'm always interested in motor's f/s ads because I too "someday" will be replacing my 350. Why don't you video tape the car running w/the old 350. That way you can pull it & have the tape to show buyers so they can see & hear it running.
